Shihan Ferrer
Shihan Carlos M. Ferrer heads the USDF Blackbelt Academy. Shihan Ferrer has trained in the martial arts since 1973 and has been teaching since 1976. He opened USDF in 1984 and has since established his school as one of the nicest and most stable dojos in the state of Utah.
Shihan Ferrer is the founder of the American-Do Federation and currently is the President of the Excel Karate League. He hosts the EKL Nationals Tournament each year.
Shihan Ferrer currently holds the following blackbelt ranks:
- 7th degree in Gen-Jitsu Kenpo Karate
- 6th degree in Chinese Kempo
- 5th degree in Tae Kwon Do
- 4th degree in Okinawan Goju-Ryu
